About Larry Hill
Larry Hill is the co-founder and Principal Consultant of CalPro Research - a professional services company. He is a researcher, technologist, facilitator, coach, and a change agent.
He has over twenty-five years of management and consulting experience. Larry’s corporate background is centered in Silicon Valley where he led multi-million dollar international projects for high-tech companies. One of these projects generated a $30 million dollar cost savings in just one year!
Larry and his wife, Lori, founded CalPro Research in 2002 and have helped hundreds of companies in multiple industries implement continuous improvement programs through their survey, benchmarking and action-planning services. For the past six years, CalPro Research has worked in partnership with Pfizer Animal Health to serve the veterinary industry.
Larry’s corporate background ranges from small start-ups to Fortune 500 companies and everything in between. He has experience across a wide variety of industries including: high-tech, hospitality, construction, financial services, non-profit, medical, pharmaceutical, and veterinary.
As a consultant, Larry has an impeccable track record for helping executives simplify strategic issues with an emphasis on execution, feedback and continuous improvement. When asked what he does for a living he simply says, “Surveys and strategy. Why do a survey if you don’t have a strategy?”
Larry is a native of Silicon Valley and a graduate of the University of San Francisco with degrees in Information Systems Management and Business Administration. He has several certifications such as Life Coach and Professional Behavioral Analyst. He has held a number of non-profit Board of Directors positions and lives in Rocklin, California with his wife, Lori, and their three teenage children. Together they have launched a ministry called ThrivingMarriages.org. Larry is also writing his first book about a businessman’s journey from running on a treadmill to overflowing with hope.
